    听人讲的情人节的来历

          古希腊有一个国王，一心想把国家扩张成强大的帝国，征召了很多男人赴外远征。为此，颁布命令几年内不准国民结婚，不准教堂给公民颁发结婚证书。

         瓦伦丁是教堂的牧师，看到许多相爱的年轻人不能结婚，非常难过。他秘密地为好多对男女举行了结婚仪式，受到了大家的爱戴和尊敬。

          可是这事被国王发现了，判决他死刑。瓦伦丁被处死的那天，正是2月14日。
